The STG hydroponics technology has at its origins fiberfill, commonly known as pillow stuffing. The multi-disciplinary STG Product Development Team applied extensive technical expertise and vision to transform this simple material into a high performance hydroponic gardening medium.
Under the direction of the STG development team, which included polymer chemists, hydroponic consultants, expert growers and manufacturing experts we developed a unique growing substrate that has superb water retention capacity, tremendous aeration and is suitable for use in a wide variety of indoor gardening systems. STG products were tested extensively by countless growers and universities around the United States and Canada who provided invaluable input regarding the characterists required to develop the perfect growing medium.
Sure To Grow® is made from food-grade polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene (PE), the same material that is used in manufacturing soda bottles, clamshell packaging, microwave food trays, food package films, and milk jugs. PET and PE are considered by technological experts and industry professionals to be the safest food-packaging product on the market today.
All of our manufacturing is done in North Carolina in a clean/sterile manufacturing environment utilizing precise production controls to ensure product quality and uniformity.
